Western Bluebird - Fun Facts

In open parklands of the American west, brilliant blue and rust colored ,western bluebirds on low perches and swoop lightly to the ground to catch insects. Deep blue , rusty and white males are considered  brighter than females. They require natural tree cavities or vacant woodpecker holes. They eat insects, seeds and fruit . You can find them in the forest.
